Additional Services

Year-Round Groups
Our after-school small group sessions bring the magic of our summer camps into the school year. Designed for children ages 4–6 and 7–10, these nature-based groups include 4–6 children and focus on building social skills through play, movement, and shared outdoor experiences. With support from an occupational therapist, children develop sensory processing, motor skills, and emotional regulation in a setting that feels engaging, supportive, and fun.

School Consultations
Describe your service here. What makes it great? Use short catchy text to tell people what you offer, and the benefits they will receive. A great description gets readers in the mood, and makes them more likely to go ahead and book.

The ConTiGO Approach
Connection & Transformation in the Great Outdoors
At the heart of Playful Peaks is the ConTiGO™ Approach—a relationship-based, evidence-based model that uses nature as a powerful setting for growth. By combining therapeutic support with outdoor experiences, we help children build self-regulation, confidence, and resilience in ways that feel natural, engaging, and meaningful.
Nature offers space to explore, take risks, and practice new skills without the pressure of a traditional clinical environment. Within this setting, children form stronger connections with themselves, their peers, and the adults supporting them—making growth more lasting and transferable to everyday life.

Connection
Children grow through relationships. We intentionally include peers and, when appropriate, caregivers in the therapeutic process to foster connection, build social skills, and help children feel supported. These shared experiences make learning more meaningful—and help skills carry over into daily life.

Transformation
Therapy should lead to real, lasting change. By combining evidence-based practices with meaningful outdoor experiences, we support children in building skills that matter—helping daily routines feel easier, more successful, and more enjoyable for the whole family.

Great Outdoors
Nature is more than a backdrop—it’s an active part of the therapeutic process. Outdoor environments support attention, regulation, and overall well-being while creating space for movement, creativity, and exploration. Without the feel of a traditional clinic, children can show up as themselves, take healthy risks, and grow with confidence.
